FAQ
Q. Will my vehicle be insured while being transported?
A. Yes. JE Carriers, LLC only use drivers that comply with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) guidelines. The FMCSA requires motor carriers to carry a minimum of $100,000 cargo insurance.

Q. Can my vehicle be picked up from my address?
A. Yes. We provide door-to-door services for 95% of our customers. For addresses that are not easily accessible by trucks, arrangements will be made to meet at the nearest accessible location.

Q. Can I put other items in my car to be shipped also?
A. No. It is against the law to ship items inside your vehicle. Also, items left in a vehicle are not covered by the transporter's insurance.

Q. Why does an SUV cost more to ship than a car?
A. SUVs are larger and heavier than your average car. Full sized SUVs take up extra space on the trailer that another paying vehicle would normally occupy. It usually costs $50 to $100 more to transport large SUVs.

Q. Can you ship my car if it is not operable?
A. Yes. However, additional fees will apply because extra equipment and labor are needed to maneuver your vehicle.

Q. What forms of payment are accepted by vehicle transporters?
A. Auto transporters accept cashier and certified checks as well as cash and credit cards for the deposit. The balance is due upon delivery and only cash, cashiers or certified checks is accepted unless other arrangements have been made prior to shipping your car.

Q. How should I prepare my vehicle for auto transport?
A. Disconnect auto alarms and anti-theft systems. Remove any accessories such as car bras, CB antennas, low spoilers, etc.
